HLC conducts materiality analysis based on GRI Standards 2021, Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000 SES), and Accountability Principles (AA1000 AP) to identify its material sustainability issues. We also formulate management approaches and develop medium- to long-term goals as the foundation for promoting sustainability. Furthermore, we hope that through the process of assessing material sustainability issues, we can build internal consensus and turn it into action plans, prompting the organization together toward long-term stable and impactful sustainable development goals.

Stakeholder Engagement

HLC identifies six main categories of stakeholders using the five principles (Dependency, Responsibility, Influence, Diverse Perspectives, Tension) of the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (SES). HLC considers issues of concern to stakeholders and comprehensive engagement to understand the issues and various stakeholders’ needs, to facilitate effective communication through diverse channels.
