President's Message

Steady Business Growth, Demonstrating Platform Integration Benefits

In 2024, HLC demonstrated steady growth in operational performance, with full-year revenue reaching NT$ 24.7 billion. The number of our vehicles for long-term leasing nearly reached 40,000 units, maintaining our top market share in the new car leasing market and showcasing the high trust corporate clients place in Hotai's professional fleet management services. In the used car business, HAA's annual transaction volume exceeded 30,000 vehicles, with a market share of over 50%, making it the largest used car auction platform in Taiwan. By combining the HOT Alliance, which has the largest number of members nationwide, and abc platform, Taiwan's largest platform for vehicle listings, HLC has gradually established a complete and competitively advantageous vehicle circulation and service platform, demonstrating the synergy of platform-based operations and industry connectivity. 

E  Promoting Green Initiatives, Fulfilling Environmental Responsibility

On the environmental front, we respond to the challenges of climate change with actions and continuously promote low-carbon transition. We are actively undertaking electric and hybrid vehicle leasing services, with a total of 3,810 units in 2024, more than doubling compared with 2021. In line with digital transformation policies, we are gradually implementing paperless operations and optimizing online processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce resource consumption. At the same time, through various energy-saving and carbon reduction measures, we are moving toward our goal of a 25% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030. Furthermore, starting in 2025, we will formally incorporate environmental and ecological conservation into our public welfare initiatives, to expand our positive impact on natural ecological protection. 

S  People-Centered, Co-creating Workplace and Social Value 

On the social front, we adopt a "people-centered" approach and strive to create a healthy, friendly, and growth-oriented workplace. In 2024, we invested over NT$ 1.2 billion in employee compensation and benefits and continuously strengthen digital learning and career development programs, to actively cultivate management reserves and professional talent. Concurrently, we continue to implement professional competency education courses, to enhance industry knowledge and skill transfer, thus fostering industry talent development. Externally, we focus on three major public welfare themes: rural education, care for disadvantaged groups, and traffic safety. Between 2022 and 2024, we sponsored the "Weiwuying - Theater Arts Experience Education Program" and the "Taiwan Health Foundation - Good Health Academy" to organize over 28 educational activities that served nearly 1,000 schoolchildren. We also donated 200 sets of traffic safety volunteer supplies to 15 schools. Our employees actively participate in volunteer efforts, accumulating over 2,200 participants and contributing 8,000 hours of service, demonstrating HLC's commitment to social well-being. 

G  Sound Governance System, Implementing a Culture of Ethical Management 

In terms of governance, in 2024, we obtained ISO 27001 information security management system certification, with enhanced data protection and risk response capabilities. We operate with integrity and zero tolerance for illegal activities as our guidelines, thus ensuring consistency between our corporate culture and practical operations. While pursuing operational performance, we actively implement responsible marketing measures, to ensure transparent product information, truthful advertising content, and protecting consumers' right to information and choice, thereby building a highly trustworthy brand image. Looking ahead to 2025, HLC will further extend its sustainability governance to the supply chain by planning to introduce a supplier sustainable management mechanism and formulate a "Supplier Code of Conduct and Social Responsibility Commitment". This will establish shared ethical and environmental standards, to build a stable and responsible sustainable value chain with partners.
